For the Class of 2006, "Together We Build" is more than just a motto—it is a mission. This was on full display recently when a delegation of alumni stepped out of their daily professional lives and into the heart of the community for a successful outreach visit to a local motherless babies' home.

Small Acts, Big Impact

The day was defined by smiles, laughter, and a mountain of supplies. From essential food items like bags of rice, cartons of noodles, and beverages, to hygiene products and detergents, the "Legends" ensured that the home was well-stocked to care for the children.

But beyond the physical donations, the real gift was the presence of the alumni. In a world that moves so fast, taking the time to sit, talk, and share a moment of connection with the caregivers and children reminded everyone that the strongest bond we have is our shared humanity.

The Legend Legacy

"Visiting the home was a humbling reminder of how much we can achieve when we pool our resources," one attendee noted. "We left FGC Warri years ago, but the school taught us to be leaders who serve. Today was about living that lesson."

The success of the outreach serves as a powerful "proof of concept" for the new Alumni Portal. It shows that when the '06 Set is organized and connected, there is no limit to the positive impact they can have on their alma mater and their host communities.

A Growing Movement

This outreach is just the beginning. With the launch of the new digital portal, the Class of 2006 aims to make these visits a regular part of their calendar. By bridging the gap between old friends and new needs, they are proving that being a "Legend" isn't just about the past—it's about building a brighter future for those who need it most.

As the team stood together for a final photo, surrounded by crates of supplies and the warmth of a job well done, one thing was clear: Together, they build. Together, they give back.
